Child's Day Out Christian Preschool

Philosophy and Goals

Avondale United Methodist Church offers Child’s Day Out as a ministry to the people of this community. We operate to provide a Christian environment for your child to learn and grow in, with a concentration on social, physical, emotional and intellectual areas. We believe that by allowing the child the freedom to play, explore and discover the world around them in a safe and loving environment, a child develops readiness for other school and life experiences. We also believe that the quality of these early experiences will greatly influence a child’s potential.  We also hope that formation of our children in the Christian faith will be a source of strength and support to them as they move through life.  Our day starts with a brief chapel service in the sanctuary every morning.
